Dr Subha Kadappu
Dr Kadappu specializes in children’s eye conditions and squint. She is a Fellow of Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists and obtained subspeciality training in Paediatric ophthalmology and strabismus at the Children’s Hospital at Westmead.
Currently, she is a staff specialist at Children’s Hospital, Westmead and Campbelltown Hospital (Sydney Children’s Hospital Network).
She is also visiting medical officer at Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital and involved in paediatric and Statewide Eyesight Preschooler screening (StEPS) clinics.
Dr Kadappu has conducted research in Paediatric eye injuries and the findings of this research has helped develop -EYEPLAYSAFE- a web based interactive resource centred on eye safety (www.eyeplaysafe.org.au).
Dr Kadappu is also fluent in Hindi and Kannada languages.
